| In September 2024, New America’s Future of Work and the Innovation Economy Initiative (FOWIE) and the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) partnered to launch the Accelerator for Community Colleges in the Innovation Economy, a national technical assistance, community of practice, and storytelling program dedicated to building the capacity of community college partners in the NSF Regional Innovation Engine and bolster skilled technical workforce strategies for communities Engines serve.
